Foxhounds were the first of the dog breeds in Great Britain to be subject to scientific breeding control. There were hounds of older origin, such as the Southern Hound and Hounds; But something different was required at the end of the 17th century to hunt wild deer that had become somewhat dispersed after the Cromwell Civil War. Thus the demand for hounds was faster than until now known, and people devoted to hunting began to breed them.

Legs and feet: -

the color:-
